One training Restaurant and Bar equipped to cater to national and international taste, provide latest techniques of services at par with the industry, training of buffets, banquets, services etc. are also provided in these Labs.Basic Kitchen is fully equipped with modern catering equipment and appliances. This Kitchen is used to introduce the art of cookery to the students.Familiarity with the art and science of cooking is indeed essential part of good hospitality operation.Two Huge Labs take care of all baking and confectionary requirements of the syllabus, Student produce the most exquisite breads, cakes, chocolate, pastries and dessert here.
The institute has a well equipped computer lab at campus, where student are taught the use of latest information technologies in day to day management. The Lab is on multi user environment, LAN , working on Windows.
Students of Preston institute of hotel management & catering technology have access to large numbers of books, resource materials and magazines. The institute maintain a library of books, periodical and journals both Indian and international.The front office lab with well decorated, reception area and lounge is the first point of contact with guest. In this Lab the student are trained for receiving information, billing, and guest registration and guest relation. In addition emphasis on communication skills, social skills, and handling of different type of situations.
Eligibility Criteria:Candidate who has qualified 10+2 with English.
Age: GEN/OBC 25 years & SC/ST 28 years.
Admission procedure: Admissions will be made strictly according to the rules and procedures laid down by the NCHMCT Norms.
Admission done by the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Noida-201309 & IGNOU, New Delhi. The admission will be by Joint Entrance Examination followed by Counseling for allotment of Institutes on merit on All India basis. Advertisement of issue of application form for JEE 2021 for admission to Ist Year of 3-Year B.Sc. in H&HA for the academic year 2021-22 has been issued by NCHMCT, Noida.
